Abbondanza meaning “abundance” in Italian reflects pizza shop owner Bob Goff’s philosophy.  You shouldn’t have to “double order a topping”.  We enjoy layering mouthwatering pizza with the freshest ingredients. 

In 2005, Abbondanza won national recognition in a Denver pizza competition for the Meaty pizza, which is smothered in delicious homemade red sauce and covered with 55 pepperoni slices, ham, sausage, and mozzarella cheese. 

2005, out of 50 pizza entries, Abbondanza won national recognition when the Meaty pizza placed second overall in the Vistar/Roma sponsored contest.  The Meaty pizza is smothered in delicious homemade red sauce and covered with 55 pepperoni slices, ham, sausage, and mozzarella cheese.  Pizzas were judged by culinary experts on appearance, taste, and marketability.

Not only do we want to make great pizzas, we also want to make a difference for the community.  Bob Goff was recently humbled to receive the 2006 Make Time for Kids Award from the Longmont Children and Youth Resources Division. 

Our restaurant has a fun, non-stop, lively atmosphere.  Red and white checked cloths drape from tables, and board games, such as Battleship, Scrabble, and Candy Land entertain customers as they savor some of the best pizza in Longmont.
